Annual Cask Owners’ Day. Bar open to the public with live music from 20:00
Annual Cask Owners’ Day is where owners of casks and cask shares that are maturing in our warehouses meet to taste samples of their maturing whisky have a great day of fun and inspiration.
We start with a visit at the “rimahjallur” warehouses in Kvívík, where our Head Distiller will do a tour and talk about whisky maturation, our whisky flavour profile & wood policy. We will also try some of the maturing young malt. We will then move on to Vestmanna, where you will get a sample of your cask, and we and have a great time and hear presentations from our Managing Director and our Brand Ambassador. The event includes some free drinks and food.
The event starts at 16:00 with bus pick up in Tórshavn (Gundadalur) – or 16:30 if you join in Kvívík. At around midnight the bus drives back to Tórshavn.
From 20:00 we invite in the public, and there will be live music (to be announced).

Please name email “Registration Cask Owners’ Day 2025” Registration email must contain:
- Name of principal cask owner and/or certificate number
- Whether you need transport to/from Vestmanna
Cost: 250 DKK.
In case you want to use the bus to and from Tórshavn, there is an additional fee of 200 DKK.
